
SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR COVID 19 ACCOMMODATION SUPPORT INSURANCE
This insurance contract includes extra room accommodation in hotels where foreigners travelling from abroad to the Republic of Turkey stay within the borders of the Republic of Turkey, after all public pandemic hospitals report keeping them under surveillance at the hotel where they stay due to Covid-19 disease.
The certified hotels guarantee that they take all measures against the pandemic in all the segments they offer. Businesses with Safe Tourism Certificate were stated at https://tga.gov.tr/search-hotel-category. Our Ministry of Tourism has mandated that all accommodation facilities with 30 rooms and above receive “Safe Tourism” certificate with its latest regulation. Accommodation companies that are obliged to receive certificates will not be able to operate without certificates.
This policy is valid as of the beginning of the foreign tourist accommodation, provided that they stay in Safe Tourism certified hotels and any of the COVID-19 Tourist Protection Insurances have been purchased.
The maximum compensation period to be paid during the policy shall be limited to the outcome obtained by multiplying the daily hotel accommodation fee for one with 15 days and and limited to maximum 1500 €. Our product is arranged on the basis of compensation and the daily amount of compensation specified in the scope of the guarantee is paid to the insuree.
COVID-19 Accommodation Support Insurance Package is only valid for the 0-65 age range.
The information written on the policy is essential. The insurance coverage is valid only for the persons mentioned in the policy, and other persons may not benefit from the coverage.
The words, definitions, phrases and abbreviations used in the text of this insurance contract have the meanings specified in their provisions. (The definitions below are general definitions and the scope of the policy is limited to the guarantees specified on the policy.)
Policy:
It is a document signed by the insurer and given to the insuree/insurant, showing the rights and debts arising from the insurance contract of the insuree and the insurant.
General Requirements of Health Insurance:
These are the general conditions of Health Insurance determined by the Undersecretariat of Treasury of the Prime Ministry of Turkey.

Disease:
It is a deterioration in the physical or mental functions of the insuree that would require intervention by a doctor or medical research.
Doctor / Medical Doctor:
Within the framework of the laws valid in the Geographical Area where healthcare is provided, this is a person who is permitted by law within the borders of the Republic of Turkey to conduct his profession or given the title/document as an official medical doctor. In these special circumstances, the term doctor of medicine shall be used as a doctor.
Exemption:
It is the amount of expenditure written in the policy that is not covered by the guarantee / service provided by the insurance company and/or that the insuree must attend for each event.
Insuree:
The insurer is the person whose name is stated in the current insurance policy issued by the insuree and is included in the insurance coverage.
This insurance contract is valid within the borders of the Republic of Turkey.
The insurance coverage starts with a accommodation at the hotel and ends with the end date of the accommodation. In case the insuree stays in quarantine within the period of accommodation is documented, the maximum amount of compensation will be paid even if the accommodation in the hotel is over. In a 7-day tour, if a surveillance decision is made on the 5th day, 13 days of compensation will be paid in case of an extra stay at the hotel for 15 days.
Premiums will be collected in advance in TL at the effective sales rate of the central bank at the date of issue of the policy.

The insurance is valid provided that Covid-19 diagnosis has been made within the borders of Turkey and within the insurance period. This policy shall be for minimum 15 days. The daily compensation fee payable might not be higher than the daily hotel room fee.
This policy is a type of policy that covers hotel accommodation costs only if those who come to our country from abroad stay in the hotel extra due to Covid 19. Besides this scope, the insuree's medical expenses outside of Covid 19 within the borders of the Republic of Turkey are not covered.
The guarantee is valid in case of a definitive diagnosis of Covid-19 within the insurance period and within the borders of Turkey.
The policies taken after the date of entrance to the Turkey shall not be valid.
- WAITING PERIODS
There is no waiting period.
The reports to be given by the Public Pandemic Hospitals of the Republic of Turkey and quarantine documents for staying at the hotel - Passport Photocopy - Hotel Accommodation Documents and Hotel Accommodation Receipt are required. The insurer might request additional document if necessary.
During the compensation payment, it shall be converted into TL over the Effective Selling Exchange Rate of Central Bank on the date of quarantine start received by the Hospital and deposited into the account of insured. (Bank costs to be born within the scope of Transfer /EFT shall be covered by the insured).
There is no cancellation of policy and no premium refunds. Policy premium shall be in cash and collected by being converted in TL over the Effective Seeling Exchange Rae of Central Bank.
In the event that the insurer makes payments contrary to the special and general conditions of the policy due to the incorrect and/or incomplete information of the insuree or the insurant, the insurer shall collect these payments by recourse to the insuree. If the insurer has made a payment that is not covered by the policy guarantee for any reason, it cannot be considered as a right earned by the insuree.
Türkiye Sigorta A.Ş is authorized to provide and share information and/or documents by making examinations at the Treasury, Health Insurance Information and Monitoring Center (SBGM), Turkey Insurance Association (Turkey Insurance, Reinsurance, and Pension Companies Association), all health institutions and organizations, insurance companies and Public Institutions within the framework of relevant legal regulations.
The insurer informs the insurant / insuree about the contract expiration date and renewal before the contract expires and if there is a renewal guarantee on the product, written or electronic notification to the insuree regarding the renewal guarantee and also, whether the contract is renewed or not. The insurer shall make this information based on the up-to-date contact information contained in the company records.
However, in the event that at least one of these contact information is changed or misreported, the insurer shall be deemed to have fulfilled its obligation to inform unless immediately written notification is made to the insurer by the insuree/insurant.
In addition to the address information, it is obligatory that at least one of the family members who are insured in the policy and one of the cell phone or e-mail address of the insuree should be forwarded to the insurer in order to make the information.
In cases where there is a lack of contact information of family members, notification is made to the person with full knowledge of the policy and the information is considered to have been made to other family members in the policy.
Türkiye Sigorta A.Ş is authorized to provide and share information and/or documents by making examinations at the Treasury, Health Insurance Information and Monitoring Center (SBGM), Turkey Insurance Association (Turkey Insurance, Reinsurance, and Pension Companies Association), all health institutions and organizations, insurance companies and Public Institutions within the framework of relevant legal regulations.
I give consent for my personal health data, insurance records and information and records about my health status to be shared with public authorities and cents, the nature of contracts with third parties and organizations should, service providers, who are resident in Turkey or abroad with companies, if needed, to be collected, processed, updated, periodically checked, to be kept in the database, processed and stored and obtained from the Insurance Information and Surveillance Center (SBGM), Social Security Institution, Ministry of Health, health institutions and organizations, existing and/or other health insurance companies, physicians and/or all public and private institutions and organizations determined by the relevant legislation and third parties in order to submit a health insurance offer, to make a health risk assessment, to fulfill the obligations under the insurance policy and to finalize compensation applications as the insuree/insurant.

- WARNINGS
1.For more detailed information about insurance, please carefully review the general terms of Health Insurance and the specific terms of the policy to be issued by the insurer upon request.
2.In accordance with article 1431 of the Turkish Commercial Code, the liability of the insurer shall not begin unless the policy premium is paid. In accordance with article 1434 of the Turkish Commercial Code, the insurer shall terminate the insurance contract if the down payment of the policy is not paid. In the event that one of the installments is not paid in due time, the insuree is obliged to pay the premium debt within 10 days at the latest as of the date of notification made by the insurer. Otherwise, the policy will be terminated and the claims will not be met after the cancellation date.
- After the contract is made, if the issues that may affect the risk change, the situation must be reported to the insurance company within eight days in accordance with Article 7 of the General Conditions of Health Insurance.

2.The guarantee is valid in case of a definitive diagnosis of Covid-19 within the insurance period and within the borders of Turkey.
3.The insurer may request medical examinations to assess the health risk of the insuree.
4.The insurance company has the right to request information and registration copies about the health background of the insuree from all doctors, health institutions and third parties who treated the insuree before and after the insurance period. Under the insuree's goodwill rules, if he does not agree to fulfill this, the insurer may go out of its way to not pay the compensation or cancel the agreement.

1- What is the product content and coverage?
This policy is valid on the condition of accommodating at the Safe Tourism certified hotels since the beginning of the accommodation of the Foreign Tourist. If surveillance decision is taken by public pandemic hospitals because of Covid-19 within the scope and duration of the policy, and if the insure has to prolong their accommodation duration at the hotel, daily compensation amount within the coverage scope of the package chosen will be paid to the insure.
2- Is the coverage chosen within the package scope paid to the hotel or insured?
Compensation payments Health Insurances are made to the right owner. Therefore, the payments in the related policies will be made to the insured, the right owner.
3- What is the compensation duration?
Maximum compensation duration to be paid during the policy period is 15 days.
4-Does it matter if the hospital which decides for surveillance is private of public hospital?
The hospital which decides for supervisory should be public hospital.
5- Is there any waiting period?
No, there is not any waiting period.
6-Is there any age limitation?

7-Is there any special clause for policy coverage commencement?
The coverage will be valid on the insurance commencement date; policy coverage commencement date cannot be before the date of entry to the boundaries of Turkish Republic. As the commencement date, the date specified on the passport will be taken as basis. Even if the policy expiry date is future dated, coverage expires when it is detected that the insured go outside of the Turkish boundaries based on the passport.
8- Does any compensation payment made if the supervisory decision is taken during the tour period after Covid-19 diagnosis within the tour scope?
Even though the insurance coverage expires at the end of the tour, if the surveillance decision is made during the tour, compensation is paid during the maximum compensation period even if the tour duration ends. Your personal data shall be collected by the authorized departments, the General Directorate, our suppliers, agencies, brokers, our employees and business partners authorized by the Company upon your statements before, during and after the contractual relation.

5. Protection and Confidentiality of Personal Data

SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR COVID 19 ACCOMMODATION SUPPORT INSURANCE
This insurance contract includes extra room accommodation in hotels where foreigners travelling from abroad to the Republic of Turkey stay within the borders of the Republic of Turkey, after all public pandemic hospitals report keeping them under surveillance at the hotel where they stay due to Covid-19 disease.
The certified hotels guarantee that they take all measures against the pandemic in all the segments they offer. Businesses with Safe Tourism Certificate were stated at https://tga.gov.tr/search-hotel-category. Our Ministry of Tourism has mandated that all accommodation facilities with 50 rooms and above receive “Safe Tourism” certificate with its latest regulation. Accommodation companies that are obliged to receive certificates will not be able to operate without certificates.
This policy is valid as of the beginning of the foreign tourist accommodation, provided that they stay in Safe Tourism certified hotels and any of the COVID-19 Tourist Protection Insurances have been purchased.
The maximum compensation period to be paid during the policy shall be limited to the outcome obtained by multiplying the daily hotel accommodation fee for one with 15 days and and limited to minimum 1500 £. Our product is arranged on the basis of compensation and the daily amount of compensation specified in the scope of the guarantee is paid to the insuree.
COVID-19 Accommodation Support Insurance Package is only valid for the 0-65 age range.
The information written on the policy is essential. The insurance coverage is valid only for the persons mentioned in the policy, and other persons may not benefit from the coverage.
The words, definitions, phrases and abbreviations used in the text of this insurance contract have the meanings specified in their provisions. (The definitions below are general definitions and the scope of the policy is limited to the guarantees specified on the policy.)
Policy:
It is a document signed by the insurer and given to the insuree/insurant, showing the rights and debts arising from the insurance contract of the insuree and the insurant.
General Requirements of Health Insurance:
These are the general conditions of Health Insurance determined by the Undersecretariat of Treasury of the Prime Ministry of Turkey.

Disease:
It is a deterioration in the physical or mental functions of the insuree that would require intervention by a doctor or medical research.
Doctor / Medical Doctor:
Within the framework of the laws valid in the Geographical Area where healthcare is provided, this is a person who is permitted by law within the borders of the Republic of Turkey to conduct his profession or given the title/document as an official medical doctor. In these special circumstances, the term doctor of medicine shall be used as a doctor.
Exemption:
It is the amount of expenditure written in the policy that is not covered by the guarantee / service provided by the insurance company and/or that the insuree must attend for each event.
Insuree:
The insurer is the person whose name is stated in the current insurance policy issued by the insuree and is included in the insurance coverage.
This insurance contract is valid within the borders of the Republic of Turkey.
The insurance coverage starts with a accommodation at the hotel and ends with the end date of the accommodation. In case the insuree stays in quarantine within the period of accommodation is documented, the maximum amount of compensation will be paid even if the accommodation in the hotel is over. In a 7-day tour, if a surveillance decision is made on the 5th day, 13 days of compensation will be paid in case of an extra stay at the hotel for 15 days.
Premiums will be collected in advance in TL at the effective sales rate of the central bank at the date of issue of the policy.

The insurance is valid provided that Covid-19 diagnosis has been made within the borders of Turkey and within the insurance period. This policy shall be for minimum 15 days. The daily compensation fee payable might not be higher than the daily hotel room fee.
This policy is a type of policy that covers hotel accommodation costs only if those who come to our country from abroad stay in the hotel extra due to Covid 19. Besides this scope, the insuree's medical expenses outside of Covid 19 within the borders of the Republic of Turkey are not covered.
The guarantee is valid in case of a definitive diagnosis of Covid-19 within the insurance period and within the borders of Turkey.
The policies taken after the date of entrance to the Turkey shall not be valid.
- WAITING PERIODS
There is no waiting period.
The reports to be given by the Public Pandemic Hospitals of the Republic of Turkey and quarantine documents for staying at the hotel - Passport Photocopy - Hotel Accommodation Documents and Hotel Accommodation Receipt are required. The insurer might request additional document if necessary.
During the compensation payment, it shall be converted into TL over the Effective Selling Exchange Rate of Central Bank on the date of quarantine start received by the Hospital and deposited into the account of insured. (Bank costs to be born within the scope of Transfer /EFT shall be covered by the insured).
There is no cancellation of policy and no premium refunds. Policy premium shall be in cash and collected by being converted in TL over the Effective Seeling Exchange Rae of Central Bank.
In the event that the insurer makes payments contrary to the special and general conditions of the policy due to the incorrect and/or incomplete information of the insuree or the insurant, the insurer shall collect these payments by recourse to the insuree. If the insurer has made a payment that is not covered by the policy guarantee for any reason, it cannot be considered as a right earned by the insuree.
Türkiye Sigorta A.Ş is authorized to provide and share information and/or documents by making examinations at the Treasury, Health Insurance Information and Monitoring Center (SBGM), Turkey Insurance Association (Turkey Insurance, Reinsurance, and Pension Companies Association), all health institutions and organizations, insurance companies and Public Institutions within the framework of relevant legal regulations.
The insurer informs the insurant / insuree about the contract expiration date and renewal before the contract expires and if there is a renewal guarantee on the product, written or electronic notification to the insuree regarding the renewal guarantee and also, whether the contract is renewed or not. The insurer shall make this information based on the up-to-date contact information contained in the company records.
However, in the event that at least one of these contact information is changed or misreported, the insurer shall be deemed to have fulfilled its obligation to inform unless immediately written notification is made to the insurer by the insuree/insurant.
In addition to the address information, it is obligatory that at least one of the family members who are insured in the policy and one of the cell phone or e-mail address of the insuree should be forwarded to the insurer in order to make the information.
In cases where there is a lack of contact information of family members, notification is made to the person with full knowledge of the policy and the information is considered to have been made to other family members in the policy.
Türkiye Sigorta A.Ş is authorized to provide and share information and/or documents by making examinations at the Treasury, Health Insurance Information and Monitoring Center (SBGM), Turkey Insurance Association (Turkey Insurance, Reinsurance, and Pension Companies Association), all health institutions and organizations, insurance companies and Public Institutions within the framework of relevant legal regulations.

- WARNINGS
1.For more detailed information about insurance, please carefully review the general terms of Health Insurance and the specific terms of the policy to be issued by the insurer upon request.
2.In accordance with article 1431 of the Turkish Commercial Code, the liability of the insurer shall not begin unless the policy premium is paid. In accordance with article 1434 of the Turkish Commercial Code, the insurer shall terminate the insurance contract if the down payment of the policy is not paid. 4.The insurance company has the right to request information and registration copies about the health background of the insuree from all doctors, health institutions and third parties who treated the insuree before and after the insurance period. Under the insuree's goodwill rules, if he does not agree to fulfill this, the insurer may go out of its way to not pay the compensation or cancel the agreement.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF HEALTH INSURANCE
This insurance contract undertakes to fulfill the organization and coordination within the scope with the written payment limits and rates in the policy and the applications in its annex of expenses covered by Travel Insurance occurred during the travels of foreign national insurance holders to the Republic of Turkey who reside outside the borders of the Republic of Turkey.

For people aged 65 and over, disease-related expenses are not covered, and only accidental expenses are covered within the framework of the special and general conditions of the policy.
- 50% additional premium for people aged between the ages of 65-70

People aged 81 and over are not covered by insurance.
The information written on the policy is essential. Insurance coverage is valid only for the persons specified in the policy, and other people cannot benefit from the coverage.
The person who will benefit from the insurance under travel insurance must be located outside the borders of Turkey at the time of the policy, otherwise, the policy will be invalid.
If two or more travel policies containing the same guarantees are purchased, they are evaluated within the limits and rates of the policy with a high limit.
The words, definitions, phrases and abbreviations used in the text of this Insurance Contract have the meanings specified in their equivalents. (The definitions below are general definitions and the policy scope is limited to the coverage specified on the policy.)
Emergency:
These are situations that occur as a result of a sudden illness, accident or injury that are not covered and endanger the life of the insured in cases where it is not intervened within 24 hours at the emergency service of the hospital. Cases that may occur other than those listed below by reference to the World Health Organization and the "Health Service Tariff" are not considered in the definition of "Emergency". (Treatments after the patient's condition stabilizes are not within the scope of emergency.)

Policy:
It is a document signed by the insurer and given to the insured/insurant, showing the rights and obligations of the insured and the insurer arising from the insurance contract.
Health Institution:
These are private or public outpatient/inpatient services licensed and regularly checked by the competent authorities of the relevant country.
Diseases Existing Before Insurance Commencement:
Even if it has never been treated, these are chronic diseases, known or unknown to the insured, and/or acute diseases that develop on a chronic basis and their complications, which require surgery or medical consultancy and/or are ongoing health issues that exist at the time of application and/or the start date of the insurance.
Travel Health Insurance General Conditions:
These are the General Conditions of Travel Health Insurance determined by the Republic of Turkey's Prime Ministry Undersecretariat of Treasury.
Company:
Türkiye Sigorta A.Ş.
Disease:
It is the deterioration in the physical or mental functions of the insured that will require medical intervention or medical investigation.
Chronic Disease:
It is a disease that tends to progress slowly from the beginning, which recurs periodically or causes continuous health problems.
Accident:
It is the exposure of the insured to a material malfunction against the will of the insured due to the effect of a sudden and external event within the insurance period provided that they are covered by the insurance. It is a sudden event that causes bodily injury or illnesses that can be proven by medical examinations that occur due to an external factor beyond the control of the insured.
Injury:
It is a health problem that caused by sudden and external effects such as an accident and requires medical research or treatment from a health institution or physician.
Assistant Company:
This company may transfer the services related to the guarantees included in the overseas travel health insurance to the assistant persons/companies by the insurer through service purchase contracts when necessary.
Permanent Residence:
The address of the insured person's residence in Turkey specified in the policy.
Doctor / Medical Doctor:
A person who has been officially awarded the medical doctor title / certificate within the framework of the laws valid in the Geographical Area where the health service is provided and / or is allowed to perform their profession within the borders of the Republic of Turkey by law. Under these special conditions, the phrase Medical Doctor will be referred as DOCTOR.
Exemption:
This amount is the expenditure amount written in the policy that is not covered by the coverage/service provided by the insurance company and/or which the insured must participate for each incident.
Insured:
It is the person whose name is specified in the current insurance policy issued by the insurer and is covered by the insurance.
Insurant:
It is the real or legal person who is a party to the insurance contract with the insurer and owns the liabilities arising from insurance such as the payment of insurance premiums.
Family Relatives:
Father, mother, child, wife, brother, sister.
This insurance contract, excluding Iran and North Korea countries in any case, ends in terms of the following:
- Travel Health Insurance policies within the borders of the Republic of Turkey,
The coverage begins when it is detected with a passport that our country has entered the borders within the term of the policy and ends with the exit from customs.
The validity period of the insurance, including the policy start and end dates specified on the policy,
- The validity period of the insurance begins when it is detected with a passport that the entrance to the borders of our country for travels to the Republic of Turkey is detected and ends when it is detected with a passport that the exit from the borders of our country is detected.
In the event that the insured suddenly becomes ill or injured during the travel within the coverage zone specified in the policy purchased, hospital, surgery and treatment costs are covered within the limits specified in the policy. The drugs used to stabilize the patient are covered, and the drug expenses to be taken with a prescription after discharge are not covered. Pre-existing and chronic diseases are not covered.
In Travel Health policies, the insured can go to the nearest emergency medical center in order to get the approval of Türkiye Sigorta A.Ş and/or Assistant Company in case of failing to reach Türkiye Sigorta A.Ş and/or Assistant Company. In this case, the insured is required to inform the information and status of the services he get as soon as possible. In case the insured does not report the service he gets, he is obliged to submit the original document showing the incident, the receipt-invoice, the result of the examination and a photocopy of the passport showing the entry-exit dates to the country, and all additional documents requested by the company.
Acute dental treatment expenses are 100 Euro in Standard Europe - Travel Health policies; and it is evaluated within the scope of Medical Treatment Coverage for Sudden Illnesses and diseases.
In case the insured suddenly becomes ill or injured within the scope of this policy, the transportation of the insured to the nearest health institution and/or center by the most appropriate transportation vehicle or from one health institution to another is covered by the coverage within the limits and payment rates specified in the policy.
The transfer of the patient from one medical center to another will be provided only if the medical center where the patient went first does not have the necessary equipment and medical team for the treatment to be performed. A medical report to be issued by the medical doctor is required for the transplant.
The Assistant Company's Medical Team and the treating physician will determine whether the health status of the insured is suitable to fly like a normal passenger or whether additional arrangements are necessary and the means of transport suitable for Bodily Harm or illness (scheduled flight, stretcher flight, air ambulance, etc.) in accordance with the written report of the doctor.
Only Türkiye Sigorta A.Ş and/or the medical team of the Assistant Company may decide on the air ambulance service and transport by air ambulance are only covered in the European continent for international Travel Health policies.
Transport by air ambulance is not covered under this contract.
In the event that the insured is discharged after the end of the treatment requiring an inpatient operation in a medical center due to an illness or injury covered by this policy, due to the decision by the doctor treating the insured that the insured cannot continue the journey and cannot use the means of transport used by the insured for the original travel to return to the residence address and if this situation is medically documented, within the limits specified in the policy, the transportation to the residence address by the scheduled vehicle type (plane, bus) is within the scope. One-way economy class flight tickets are covered by using the existing ticket if required.
In the event that the insured dies suddenly as a result of sickness or injury within the scope of this policy, the transfer of the corpse to the residence address is covered by the coverage within the limits specified in the policy.
In Overseas Travel Health Policies, coffin required for international medical conditions with burial rather than outside the borders of the Republic of Turkey for the transportation is covered within the limit specified in the policy.
Funeral, morgue and burial costs are not covered in all Travel Health policies.
If this coverage is included in the policy, and if the checked baggage is lost, stolen, or damaged on scheduled flights, if it is not found within the period specified by the Airline Company (minimum 21 days), it is covered by the coverage within the limits specified in the policy, with the condition of the airline's loss, damage or theft report.
If a payment has been made to the insured in line with the compensation amount to be paid by the company, the compensation amount paid by the responsible airline company and the delayed baggage item, this amount will be determined by deducting the sum of the damage from the damage amount reported by the insured.
The insured is obliged to present the list of baggage contents, estimated price and date of purchase, and the indemnity payment document received from the airline company.
Baggage containing insufficient packaging, lacking labels, broken or spoiled products, baggage loss and damages that may occur during travels outside the airline, loss and damage to luggage that have not been checked-in during travel by air, and money, jewelry, credit cards, cash, mobile phones, cameras, laptops, cameras, travel checks, cash receipts, special documents, stamps and similar items are not covered by the coverage.
In case this coverage is included in the policy, Türkiye Sigorta A.Ş and/or assistant company will organize the dispatch of medicines to the insured, which are urgently prescribed to the insured by the doctor concerned and cannot be found in the place where the insured is traveling. Drug costs will be borne by the insured and shipping costs will be covered by Türkiye Sigorta A.Ş within the limits stated in the policy.
If this coverage is included in the policy and when the insured is required to stay in the hospital for more than 5 days in case of illness or injury due to the reasons covered by the policy, travel of a family member determined by the insured to the location of the hospital is organized and economy class scheduled flight costs are covered.
In case this coverage is included in the policy, in a situation where the insured is required to stay in the hospital for a period of more than 5 days due to the need for medical treatment as a result of emergency illness or injury covered by the policy, the presence of a family member determined by the insured as a companion in the hospital or staying in a 4 * / 3 * hotel (limited to a maximum of 4 consecutive days) is covered within the limits specified in the policy.
The mentioned expenses are limited to the accompanying person at the hospital within the limits specified in the policy, the night attendant fee (excluding extras), and the standard room and breakfast fee (excluding extras) for 4 * / 3 * hotel accommodation.
The hotel where the accommodation will be made is determined by the Assistant Company.
In case this coverage is included in the policy, at the request of the insured, Türkiye Sigorta A.Ş will ensure that urgent or necessary messages regarding the matters covered by all the above articles are delivered.
If this coverage is included in the policy, the Assistant Company informs about the health problem faced by the Insured. All costs related to this coverage will be borne by the insured.
- In case of any claim, the Company's liability is subject to the condition that the insured claiming compensation or benefits complies with the terms of this Policy.
- For the claim under this Policy, the insured;
- Takes all reasonable precautions to minimize the damage.
- Notifies the Company and/or Assistant Person / Company as soon as possible on the Travel Health Policies. In case the company cannot be reached in order to obtain the approval of the company, the insured may go to the nearest emergency health institution and/or center. In this case, the Insured delivers the information regarding the services he get and their status to the Company. The insured is obliged to present the original documents and receipts showing the incident to the Company.
- It provides all necessary information and documents (hospital report, prescriptions, medical examination reports, receipts, invoices, etc.) to provide the Company with full service.
- The insured is nevertheless obliged to make a claim under the Social Insurance System in the Country of Permanent Residence or, if applicable, according to the special systems replacing these organizations or institutions and is obliged to repay the amounts entitled under this coverage to the Company.
- In case of illness or injury, the insured shall exempt the doctors from the obligation to keep patient information confidential and shall authorize the company to provide all evidence and information. If necessary, the insured will be guaranteed free access to all medical documentation, including medical information prior to illness or injury, to the company's doctors.
- The company's doctors must be able to examine the insured freely. If this is rejected by the insured, the Company will not be responsible for organizing the service and covering the costs.
- The Company will not be liable for any assistance after the end of the Policy period. If the illness or injury occurs during travel abroad within the policy period, the benefits provided will continue until the expiry of the policy period or until the insured's entry through the customs gate of the Permanent Residence Country (whichever is earlier) and the expenses incurred will not exceed the maximum coverage amount.
- Business trips of persons who work manually, physically and continuously with machines will not be covered. Travels for touristic and educational purposes that people working in this way without operating in business matters will be covered by the coverage.
- Those who work with intellectual and manual work in the work areas of the occupational groups listed in Article 2 and in areas deemed dangerous will be excluded from the coverage.
- Policies cannot be issued to persons working as drivers in transport companies.
- Türkiye Sigorta A.Ş will not be liable to provide services in any way, directly or indirectly, in cases that may occur in the following situations.
- Fraudulent and deliberate acts of the Insured or First Degree Family Member or any other person making a claim under this Policy,
- Any material / physical damage that may occur directly or indirectly during the provision of any service covered by this policy and not covered by the policy,
- Damages resulting from extraordinary events such as floods, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, storms, lightning and meteor strikes,
- Terrorism, rebellion and uprisings,
- Operations of the armed forces or security forces or organizations,
- Events resulting from nuclear radio-activity, acute and chronic radiation diseases and complications,
- Luggage containing products that are not packed, do not have a label, that are broken or deteriorated,
- Diseases, or pathological conditions caused by the voluntary consumption of alcohol, drugs, toxic substances, drugs or medicinal products taken except for medical prescription,
- Congenital diseases (diseases that occur during pregnancy or caused by genetic factors),
- Conditions arising from pregnancy or delivery or their complications or termination of pregnancy voluntarily, (Provided that the insured pregnant woman is less than 38 years old and the 30th week of pregnancy has not been completed, medical measures to be taken directly to save the life of the mother and/or child as a result of an acute complication during pregnancy are covered), menstrual disorders, contraception practices,
- Rehabilitation treatments and physiotherapy, alternative and complementary medicine treatments (massage, homeopathy, acupuncture etc.)
- All kinds of aesthetic treatment, cosmetic applications and related disorders,
- Diseases requiring treatment or dentist assistance before the insurance date (This exception will not apply if the medical assistance is related to life saving, acute pain or compulsory medical intervention to prevent prolonged disability),
- Non-acute dental treatments (Regardless of whether they are acute or not, all dental expenses are excluded in Domestic Travel Health Policies),
- Prostheses, contact lenses, orthopedic materials or orthoses and bone joining materials, glasses, artificial organs,
- Providing additional comfort such as TV set, telephone, air conditioning, hairdresser, massage, beautician in the hospital,
- Treatment of a disease other than the disease that caused hospitalization,
- Travels for medical treatment,
- Medical counseling and treatment not related to illness or accident,
- The fact that this travel is prohibited by a qualified physician for medical reasons,
- Protective vaccines, prophylactic treatments and applications,
- Treatments applied by people other than physicians,
- Medical transport or repatriation due to an illness or accident that can be treated on site,
- Mental illnesses and injuries, physical illnesses, suicide and attempts,
- All diseases existing at the time of application and/or dating back to the insurance start date, even if they have never been treated, incurred costs of acute illness episodes and complications that develop on the chronic ground (including death due to illness, repatriation of the body and burial expenses for this reason),
- Chronic diseases and some special diseases (Sexually transmitted diseases, HIV infection, all kinds of malign diseases, TB, sarcoidosis, multiple sclerosis, epidemic diseases)
- Recurrence and complications of operations and treatments applied in the pre-insurance period,
- Examinations and treatments not related to a specific disease (screening tests, vaccination, control tests, viral markers, porter tests, etc.), check-up expenses and annual control mammographies, smear and PSA tests, etc. routine screenings,
- All alternative treatments and all kinds of expenses for cosmetic purposes (acupuncture, mesotherapy, magnetotherapy, neural therapy, chiropractic, anti aging, reiki, ayurveda etc.),
- Expenses arising from incorrect treatment from doctors and health institutions and complications resulting from surgery,
- Non-pharmaceutical supportive products, herbal medicines, food supplements that are used to meet the daily needs of the body and / or to protect and support general health, all medicinal substances that do not have WHO approval,
- Exercising the following sports: racing or motorcycle racing of any kind, hunting activities, scuba diving, sailing in international waters with sea vehicles not designed for public passenger transport, riding, mountaineering, shooting drills, boxing, wrestling sports of any kind, martial arts, parachuting, hot air ballooning, free fall, paragliding, and any sports or recreational activity known to be generally dangerous.
- Situations that occur as a result of the insured's participation in races, sports activities and preparation or training tests,
- Participating in races or tournaments organized by sports federations or similar organizations,
- Skiing, unless a surplus is paid,
- Aviating an aircraft and helicopters that are not authorized to carry passengers as a passenger or crew, motorcycle use,
- Injuries and illnesses caused by criminal acts or participating in a crime, bets,
- Rescue of people in mountains, sea, desert, canyon and caves,
- Physical injuries that the insured may suffer as a result of driving a vehicle without a driver's license or transferring it to a person without a driver's license,
- Loss or damage to baggage that has not been "checked-in" or has not been issued a baggage claim receipt and occurred outside of scheduled flight travels,
- Private nurse expenses,
- For people aged 65 and older, whether sudden or not, disease states are people aged 81 and over.
- Only Türkiye Sigorta A.Ş and/or the medical team of the Assistant Company may decide on the air ambulance service and transport by air ambulance are only covered in the European continent for international Travel Health policies. Transport by air ambulance outside the European Continent and in Domestic Travel Health policies is not covered.
- Türkiye Sigorta A.Ş will not be responsible for the following charges,
- Unless Türkiye Sigorta A.Ş and/or Assistant Company does not give authorization in Travel Health Policies, any assistance activities and costs arranged by or on behalf of the insured. (In case the Company cannot be reached in order to obtain the approval of the Company, the Insured may go to the nearest emergency medical center. The insured is obliged to present the original documents and receipts showing the incident to the Company. If the insured does not act within the framework of the general conditions and exceptions, any expenses incurred for the emergency will not be reimbursed.)
- Out of the geographical limits of the policy, the expenses incurred after the trip ends and after returning to the Insured Permanent Residence Country, to be valid for Overseas Travel Insurance,
- If the necessary documents are not given for the guarantees that require report / document,
- Demands arising from all kinds of defects, inadequacies and responsibilities of hotels and accommodation facilities of individuals and businesses providing transportation services, all kinds of entertainment places such as restaurants, cafes, bars, night clubs, amusement parks and similar entertainment centers, sports facilities,
- All kinds of claims and payments that may occur due to the savings to be made by the public authority,
Invoices for health expenditures are calculated in Turkish Lira over the Turkish Central Bank Effective Sales Rate on the invoice date (if the currency of the relevant country does not have a Turkish Central Bank equivalent, in Turkish Lira over the US currency equivalent cross rate) and paid within the limit and payment percentage specified in the policy.
Expenses other than health expenditures but covered by the policy are calculated in Turkish Lira over the Effective Sales Rate of the Republic of Turkey Central Bank on the invoice date, provided that the relevant documents are submitted (in case the relevant country currency does not have a Turkish Central Bank equivalent, it is in Turkish Lira over the US currency equivalent cross rate) are covered within the limit and payment percentage specified in the policy.
In case the insured requests cancellation at least 48 hours before the policy commencement date due to the non-realization of their travel;
- In the event of the death of the children, spouse, parents and siblings of the insured, provided that it is documented in writing by the doctor.
- If the insured is called as a witness from the court, the policy premium is refunded, provided that the copy of the call is submitted to the company and that the call date is after the date of purchase of the travel policy.
The policy cannot be transferred to another person.
In the event that the insurer makes a payment contrary to the special and general terms of the policy due to the wrong and / or incomplete information of the insured or the doctor, he collects these payments by recourse to the insured. The fact that the insurer made a payment for any reason that is not covered by the policy coverage cannot be considered as an acquired right by the insured.
Türkiye Sigorta A.Ş is authorized to provide and share information and/or documents by making examinations before all health institutions and organizations, other insurance companies and Public Institutions and Organizations, TR Prime Ministry Undersecretariat of Treasury, Health Insurance Information and Monitoring Center (SBGM), Turkey Insurance Association (Turkey Insurance, Reinsurance, and Pension Companies Association) within the framework of the relevant legal regulations including insurance legislation, insurance regulations, health legislation.
Before the end of the contract period, the insurer informs the insurant about the contract expiry date and the renewal, as well as the insurant / insured regarding whether the contract is renewed, and if there is a renewal guarantee on the product, he informs the insured in writing or electronically. While performing this notification, the insurer bases on the current contact information in the company records.
However, in the event that at least one of these contact information is changed or is transmitted incompletely / incorrectly, the insurer is deemed to have fulfilled its obligation to inform, unless the insurer immediately notifies the insurer in writing.
In addition to the address information in order to provide information, at least one of the family members insured in the relevant policy and one of the insured's mobile phone or e-mail address must be sent to the Insurer.
In cases where there is a lack of contact information of family members, the person whose information is complete in the policy is notified and the notification is deemed to have been made to other family members in the policy.
Türkiye Sigorta A.Ş is authorized to provide and share information and/or documents by making examinations before all health institutions and organizations, other insurance companies and Public Institutions and Organizations, TR Prime Ministry Undersecretariat of Treasury, Health Insurance Information and Monitoring Center (SBGM), Turkey Insurance Association (Turkey Insurance, Reinsurance, and Pension Companies Association) within the framework of the relevant legal regulations including insurance legislation, insurance regulations, health legislation.
As the insured/insurant within the scope of the health insurance contract to be made with your company, in order to submit a health insurance offer, to make a health risk assessment, to fulfill the obligations under the insurance policy, and to finalize compensation applications, I give consent for my personal health data, insurance records, and information and records about my health status to be acquired, collected, processed, updated, periodically checked, kept in the database, processed and stored by the Insurance Information and Surveillance Center (SBGM), Social Security Institution, Ministry of Health, health institutions and organizations, existing and/or other health insurance companies, physicians and/or all public and private institutions and organizations determined by the relevant legislation and third parties and if needed, to be shared with relevant public institutions and organizations, people and organizations with 3rd contract, the service provider companies who are resident in Turkey or abroad due to the nature of the contract and the retention, storage and processing of my personal data by them.
